The Green Wall

Placemakers designed and constructed small ‘vertical gardens’ on three public walls. Via postcards, residents could communicate which neighborhood improvements they envisioned. The walls create a more lively and green Firdjtof Nansenhof. During a festive planting day, the residents filled up the planters and later self-organized into a ‘garden-group’ to take care of the vegetation.
