Workshop Festive Street Lighting for the Jan Eef

The festival street lighting of the Jan Evertsenstraat, Amsterdam West, is a hot topic. There seems to be no middle ground; people either hate or love the colourful lights bundled in jerry cans. Placemakers organized a workshop in a large transparent structure on Mercatorplein to extract the ideas and preferences of local residents, organizations and shop keepers. The results were feeded back to the commissioner.
